Our society is obsessed with growth and output; we like to keep busy. That's how we've come so far with technology and infrastructure. If we are not doing something, we feel unproductive and wasteful, yet many of us often do nothing and therefore feel sad and guilty.
Is the obsession with busy-ness linked with happiness? Or perhaps just boredom? If there is a justification for doing something, we are more likely to feel better about doing it than not doing it, but what does that tell us about the actions that we do end up doing?
